Part of the role of the Locality Advisors, Sunita Nagra (Wokingham) and Iwona Rodrieguez (Newbury) is to develop services in the workplace and in community settings. Recently we have started services through Leisure Centres these are at David Lloyd Thames Valley Park and Kennet Sports Centre, Thatcham. Both these join existing leisure based services at L.A. Fitness Parkway Newbury and Cannons Health Club Newbury Race Course. Additional Support To support the promotion of these new services we have introduced a new leaflet “Giving up smoking could literally be round the corner.” Most importantly we have increased the number of advisors that will be providing a wide range of stop smoking group courses and clinics. We now have over 50 advisors working in diverse settings including, schools, public houses, community halls, leisure centres, hospitals and workplace. Added to this is the DIY pack and home visits for the housebound. For services literally round your corner, contact us at: NHS Stop Smoking Services Email:
