Occupational Therapists

Occupational Therapists (OT) work within the NHS and Social Services, based both in the community and in hospitals.

They are able to carry out skilled assessments on people who are experiencing difficulties in managing their activities of daily living.

With the person, they are able to suggest how to improve their abilities safely and with increased independence, to advise on suitable equipment and adaptations, and to give information and guidance on how to reduce the risk of falls.
