New Guidelines for Osteoporosis Management
Berkshire East PCT and Heatherwood
and Wexham Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust have recently
developed user-friendly guidance on the medical management
of osteoporosis.
The document is designed to give the
user a lot of extra information, if so wished, by offering
links to the local Falls Care Pathway, patient information
leaflets and assessment tools.

Video - Getting up from a Fall
We have now completed a video
based on the self-help information on this site about how
to get up after a fall.
The video was produced by the Berkshire
East Falls Service Implementation Group in partnership
with the Health Promotion Resources Department.
It is available to staff, public and
carers within the East Berkshire PCT area, on either DVD
or VHS cassette. Prices
are £12.50 for health professionals and £7.50 for an individual
