Assistance if You Have Had a Fall

If you have had a fall and think you have injured yourself then please visit A&E, your GP, or call NHS Direct on  0845 46 47

If, as a result of the fall, you are having problems, e.g. with washing, dressing, eating, cooking, walking, stairs, etc., there is help at hand.

A range of equipment is available to enable people to manage more safely in their own homes.  However, should you be considering purchasing your own equipment, you should be aware that equipment is available in a range of different designs so that it can fitted safely to the features within your own home and to met your individual needs.  It is always advisable to try equipment before you purchase.

Equipment can also be purchased privately via stores on the High Street, or see your local Yellow pages.
