Events on National Falls Awareness
Day
This year’s National
Falls Awareness Day was held on Tuesday 24 June and a
big success both nationally and locally.
Nationwide over 600 events took place,
and locally there was a lot of enthusiasm spreading falls
and fracture prevention messages to shoppers, in-patients,
day hospital patients, staff and anyone else willing to
talk and listen.

We have produce a short film based
on the self-help information on this site about how to
get up after a fall.
The video was produced by the Berkshire
East Falls Service Implementation Group in partnership
with the Health Promotion Resources Department.
